New beginners' guides and Site news

Now that the frenetic burst of activity around Photokina is over, we thought it was time to give you a quick update on what we're up to here at dpreview.com. We've recently added a few new beginners' guides to our Learn section, covering photo printing and pocket camcorders, and we're hard at work on our reviews of the hottest products from the show.

Right now we're working on the Canon EOS 60D, Olympus E-5, Panasonic GH2, Nikon P7000, Panasonic LX5 and Canon S95. We haven't yet been able to get a full production quality D3100 or D7000 from Nikon yet, but we're pushing them hard and hope to be able to add them to the list very soon.

The new guides recently added to our growing learn section cover first steps in choosing - and optimizing - a color photo printer. Check them out using the links below.

Last, and by no means least, we've also moved out of our London office and relocated to our new office and studio in Seattle, Washington, which has obviously caused a little disruption. But have no fear, we've worked very hard to ensure the delay in publishing reviews is kept to a bare minimum (some of the team is still working in the UK during this staggered relocation). This is an exciting move for dpreview.com, and will give us access to considerably better resources and allow us to expand our content and add features, tools and improvements to sections of the site that we know our users will love.
